    Piano Keyboard Stand Design?

I'm trying to decide on a design for a 76-key piano keyboard that I want to build for my wife. Frankly, I do not like the "X" designs, particularly the metal types that seem to be most popular. I think over time they would tend to loosen. Instead I prefer a furniture quality stand that is both attractive & durable and can also accommodate a person's feet/knees. I have something in mind, but would like to see if anyone on SMC has made one that I could emulate.

Anyone build one before? If so, what does it look like?

Thanks & Merry Christmas to all.

The best I can offer is to look at the keyboards that come with a different stand type built around them (so to speak). For example:

    or

You then have a shelf to set it on that looks like the cases.
