Well I got a good 8 years out of the last tube but it's getting down to it's last cuts.
Continuing one of the previous threads on pricing -
I placed an order for a replacement thru my dealer for a 45 watt cartridge.
Price before shipping is $1700.
This is not for hobby work, I run 7-8 hours a day so if I get another 5-6-8 years out
of this one I'll be happy.

compared to the scare stories I keep hearing about tube prices, that sounds pretty good.
...assuming the shipping isn't several hundred $$$..
