    Interesting mix of classic lines and A&C. The giant tsuba shapes yielded by the cloud-lift rails are an eye-catcher. I like the G&G breadboard splines and the large "fingers" are cool as well. Are the accents on the fingers proud of the surface?

    It's finished with a brown dye, very light, and poly. I can't remember if I shellaced it before the poly. Basically, it's a natural finish darkened a little with brown aniline dye. The second picture is a little over exposed.

    The ebony is proud and pillowed
