Used to be a regular, trying to list some items on the classified.

It looks like I am an unable to post in the classified section. What's the reason?
    Thanx,

Hi Michael, sorry to hear about your situation.

I have sent SMC an email offering to pay the $6 for your contributor fee.

I hope that you have success selling your tools, and that your situation improves...........Regards, Rod.

Very nice of you Rod! I would have done the same for a participating member like Michael.

    Wait, is this crowd funding?!

Nicely done Rod! Indeed, the nicest thing I've ever seen done on a forum.

Hope Michael comes back and sees the nice gesture from Rod. His last post before this thread was back in April.
I used to enjoy his posts

Thank you so much Rod. Very kind of you and MUCH appreciated. I am closing down my small one man shop after 2.5 years of blissful stress and woe. There's a fine line between pushing yourself and going non-stop until you succeed and knowing your own strengths and weaknesses. While I certainly didn't have much trouble building and designing projects, it was the day to day operations of running a small business that eroded at my sanity. I am reentering the job market. As of the 28th I will be the Senior Cabinet Maker at a local furniture company.

It's sad that I have to sell most of my stuff. But I have a wife and three kids to support. Far too many unmet financial needs in my family for me to be prideful and try to stick this out and 'make it work'. I will keep all of my remaining Festool and enough to be dangerous in the realm of side jobs.

    Thank you.

    Mike
