    Craftsman Miter Saw

    Woodworkers Journal had a piece on clean miter saw cuts in the email today. Nothing much there, backing up your work, cleaning the blade, scoring your cut line. But he did it on an curious little Craftsman Miter saw:

    Has anyone used a miter saw like this one? I have never seen one like it.

    Yes, they are common in my local Sears. This style is pretty defacto at the Borg in the 10" and above size.

    I have used the fixed 7.25 miter saw for years. The laser is on the left which makes it a pain to figure out. This one looks similar. I do like mine for the size and portability. A good Diablo blade and you get clean cuts. It would be worth a try maybe. Dan
