Thread: Stop Saw question?

    Stop Saw question?

    Hi Everyone,

I have a 10" pro cabinet stop saw. I was switching to a dado set up and the arbor assembly started pivoting when pushed either up or down. This was not related to the elevation adjustments. I'll call Stop Saw in the morning but am hoping to solve the problem prior to then.

    Thanks,

The arbor unlocks after, or rather during, an activation. Your manual has instructions as to how to reset after an activation. Page 62 in my PCS manual. I would follow that process and see if the arbor re-locks into position. If it came out of position without an activation, Saw Stop will want to know about it.

    Thanks Glenn,

You were diagnosis was absolutely correct. The arbor block did not lock down the arbor. Followed the instructions and all is well!

    Many thanks,

    Ken
