    EVA Foam

Tried to search but it appears there is a glitch in the search feature. Does anyone know if EVA foam can be laser cut?

    Thanks,

I've been cutting and engraving EVA craft foam sheets and it works well. There are videos on Youtube showing it being cut.

If you need EVA in quantity, try The Foam Factory. Goggle them, great prices.

We do laser cutting and engraving of 10 mm thick foam with 25W laser.
Our colleague made a real business in our country with EVA keychains.

I've cut 5/8" and 1/2" thick EVA floor tiles for french fit drawer inserts. With material that thick, you do need to watch for flare ups.

I know this thread is over a year old, but it's just recently became relevant to me. I've seen several videos of the eva foam being cut, but I'm not finding any of it actually being engraved with a laser. Does anyone happen to have any examples they could post or direct me to please? Thanks for the help!

Of course you can laser engrave eva foam. Do not expect miracles, but with good settings you can have very nice details engraved. Not pictures of pets but detail lines and small objects.
