    Open Segmented Caribbian Rosewood

Here is a "What ya Call it" piece made from Caribbean Rosewood. The Caribbean Rosewood is expensive, but it turns great and man is it some beautiful wood. It's 15 inches in diameter with a lacquer finish.

    What ya think?

Wow Bill, this is a beautiful turning, did you use your new lathe on this one? How do you like it compared to your old one?

Great looking piece. I can not imagine the work to accurately glue that up. Did it sound like a siren when turning at speed?
