    FWW response to MinWax

Here was Fine Woodworkings response to the MinWax wipe on Poly price...I think they are still blowing it...I paid $7.95 for a pint!

I wish I could get the stuff for $5.95/quart, too. We blew it - that
    was
the pint price. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will be printing a
    correction in the next issue.

Interesting that they did not give you the price that they can get the finish... I would say that they pricing is pretty important especially since they put such a high value on the price when they were suggesting the wipe on poly was the way to go. BTW I usually just mix my own with equal parts naptha or paint thinner (depending on how fast I want it to dry) and Minwax fast dry poly.
I can pay retail anywhere, so how's your service?

This only helps people in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, but Meijer carries the quarts for $9.99. Saw them at a Meijer in Toledo tonight. That's about 25% cheaper than the quart I bought at the hardware store.
