Making a New Stand, Platforms, & Fences for a HF Disc/Belt Sander

I've been thinking of tearing apart my HF disc/belt sander and making new tables & fences for it. I don't suppose that you, or anyone that reads this, has ever modified a HF sanding center before and could supply advise and share photos?

I know I want to do it, but I'm not real sure where to start.

I plan on doing something like this.

Hmm, that's not bad. I really want to change the disk setup too though.

    Any thoughts?
