    Hi everybody (introduction)

Hi all. Newly registered member here. A big thanks to the friend who pointed me here, he knows who he is. He thought this might be the place for me over the place we know each other from, as I can't seem to remember all of the rules over there.

Hope I don't cause any (too much) trouble here because this looks like a super nice woodworking forum.

I'm from Baltimore, in my mid 30's and new to woodworking - probably 2 years or so. I'm not new to building things though as my Dad and I have restored/built a couple of old boats to first place contest winners.

My shop is in my basement and I've been fortunate enough to outfit myself with a nice cabinet saw/router table combo, a big bandsaw, good dust collector, planer, and a few other nice tools. I've not made that much but I'm looking forward to a lifetime hobby and only wish I'd started sooner.

Anyway, hope y'all will have me, should you care to, I've lumped some photos of stuff I've managed to scrape together into a web folder, you can see them here. Nothing fancy.

    Mike -

Welcome to the Creek. Nice place to spend some time. There are rules, but easy to follow.

    Nice to meet you,

    Cool Greetings and salutations

Glad that "someone" steered you over this way! Yup, a really nice bunch of people hang out here, if I do say so myself. Lots of fun and one might even pick up a tip or two on WW! Speaking of that, looks as though YOU may have a couple tips of your own to share! Nice work there. Come often, stay long.
