Hand Tool build for a tailed appliance.

I have embarked on a fairly large scale project: building a dedicated, heavy duty trestle-type lathe stand for my wife.
I got quite the workout yesterday hand sawing most of the structural pieces out of 2 x 10 boards salvaged from an old waterbed frame. This is all going to be Neander-built. Since it is a piece of shop furniture, it will by no means be 'fine furniture' quality, but I believe it will be attractive and quite functional once completed. The nice thing is that I will finally be able to free up my utility workbench in the garage, which is currently being occupied by the lathe (the lathe is an older model with a 5 foot length.) I might post some pix when I'm done.
