Hammer, Minimax - authorized service centers in USA.

Anyone know if a local machine repair center could get authorization to perform warranty work on a Minimax, Hammer or the like?
They couldn't expect you to transport it to one of their centers (scarce).

i've had felder send a tech to my house/shop to fix issues under warranty. i'm mechanically inclined so i would most likely do the repairs myself. i would contact each of the manufactures your considering and ask them about warranty repairs/work and how the handle it.
