    Shadow Dancer 19"x 8-1/2" Sapele

This is a piece I made in response to a president's challenge in our local wood-turning club to make a candle stick. I wanted to get creative so I made a pierced bowl on top to hold a tea light candle. The way the light flickers it creates dancing shadows on any nearby walls that are very cool. I will now make a few different pieces to make different light/shadow patterns. I will call them shadow dancers from now on. I will experiment with different shapes with different piercing patterns also
