    EngraveLab 6.0 Layout Question?

    Hello

First off, want to extend a 'H-U-G-E' thanks to EVERYONE who had helped with our questions relating to our rebuilt Explorer 30 Watt...think we're in the clear now and ready to work!

We're newbie EngraveLab users (had always used Corel 10/11 with our lasers). Can anyone confirm how to save 'job layouts' in EngraveLab? We really need to do this in a way that will specify 'Equal Height Lines', unique left/right margins per line, unique letter heights per line and a distance for each line relative to a top or bottom baseline? Does this all make sense? Would we use 'Auto Layout'?

For example, we want to save a 'layout' for personalizing a heart shape that will have 4 lines of personalization and want the ability to open the saved job and start typing with each line inhering font type/font height/line condensing from the saved layout? BTW, this is the way we always did it with the old Dalhgren Wizzard rotary engravers and it was wonderful...anybody remember those...I know we're from the 'stone age'

Thanks for your help, JB Lynn

  2. Create the template you wish to use. Choose your font, set the line height, spacing, borders etc... and then save your file. I hope this answers your question.
