bandsaw running rough after tire change

I just put new tires on my grizzly 514x2 bandsaw and it is now running rough. By rough, I mean that there is more vibration and blade movement. With the original tires, it easily passed the "nickel on its edge test" and the blade was absolutely stable. Not anymore. I got the tires from grizzly and put them on the way it was advised: heat to 150F then run a dowel around between the wheel and the tire to even out the tension.

Any advice on how to smooth it out?

Is there a 'bump' on the tire?

    Not an obvious one

    I'd remove the blade.
Start the saw to see if the vibration is in the drive wheel.
Then I'd spin the upper wheel and mark the 6 o'clock position. Spin it 3-4 more times to see if it stops in the same 4-8 o'clock area. If so, I'd wrap some wire at 180 degs.
While the wheels are spinning, I'd lay a thin stick along the tires and check for 'thumping'. I've read of defective tires.
Lastly, I'd put on another blade.

Found the problem. Although the tire didn't have a bump, there was one section where it was skewed laterally. That caused movement of the blade and the resulting vibration. I fixed it and it now passes the nickel test again.
