Lathe help

Does anyone have a General international lathe model Maxi-lathe 25-114QC variable speed?
What is your opinion of it, any problems?

Hi, Don:
I have one that I bought that I bought in Feb. of 2011 and have not had any problems so far. I bought it as a second, portable lathe that I can set up out in the back yard in nice weather, though, not a primary lathe, so I can't say how it would stand up to heavy use. I really like the fact that the banjo takes a tool rest with a 1" post rather than the 5/8" post that most lathes of this size use. I can use all my tool rests on either of my lathes. My primary lathe is a 3 hp. lathe so it does take a bit of getting used to turning on a 3/4 hp. lathe when I use it.
