    Finish won't dry

I built a cedar glider for my parents anniversary. To match the porch on their new house, and also for protection, I finished the cedar with Behr's outdoor waterproof sealer, natural cedar color.

Here is the data sheet on it:

It has been a couple weeks now and it won't dry. It is not coming off on your clothes, but it is still a little sticky. Is there anything I can do to get it to harden?

    Tom,

I had this happen before with witches brew and I think the problem was that I didn't fully re-mix the stock I had on hand.

Anyway, I gave it time and it hardened. Then I re-coated it with WELL mixed witches brew.

    Good luck!

Todd's all purpose remedy for finishes that stay tacky:

    Put on another coat.

I,ve run into similar problems w/cedar and found that a couple of hours in direct sunlight will usually harden the finish. Could be worth a try.
