You can buy Gore Clearstream HEPA filters that fit the Fein at HD or Amazon for 35-40 bucks.

Plus you get variable speed if that's important to you.

    Certifiably crazy tough.
This HEPA filtered vacuum is certified to comply with EPA's new Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule). The certified HEPA filter is 99.97% efficient up to .3 microns. The 2-stage industrial motor provides max water lift of 106" and ultra quiet operation.

So this is a HEPA certified vacuum. Now the considerations are cost, warranty, and cost of consumables.

The other consideration (if you care) is noise. Thats part of what youre paying for with a Fein or Festool.

In contrast, my old Craftman is screaming load. I cannot speak to the noise of this one.

Sounds like you're sold, pick one up and hand in your review.
