    Mark,
I posted a week or so about the Lee Valley Catalog and the designer/builder of the Woodworking.org tsunami hope chest project. the project was awesome and they posted the whole process of building the hope chest on the website. Dave @ Australian wood art is a great wood worker and very creative with his designs and speed at which he can visualize and complete a project. The australian woods he uses are also very beautiful. Even wood hinges on all his projects. Wow.
    Great post.

Glad you like it Mark and thanks for the mention . It's interesting to see you linked to the image of that spice cabinet . That was the first time I'd used the timber hinges and after that , there was no turning back . Metal hinges seem so out of place now .

    Cheers,
    Dave

I am very happy to know you are a member of SMC. Your work is outstanding....it is truly fine crafstmanship and very thoughtful and well founded design! Welcome! Know that I know you are a member, Iwill post this, or better yet you should post this in the General Woodworking Forum on SMC...it will get more attention there as it truly deserves. You should post the Lee Valley Piece!
