Power Protection

Hi, Epilog is delivering my new machine tomorrow, Mini 18 35 Watt. I was just sitting here wondering if I forgot anything.

Do any of you run power thru a filter or surge suppressor? I have battery backups on all of my computers, not for the slow shutdown nearly as much as for the fine power filtering.

I don't want to hurt this machine in a thunderstorm or anthing. It is the season.

Hello,
I spoke with Epilog Tech support about the surge protector on the Mini when I first got mine and he stated that the Mini has surge protection built into the unit and does not need additional protection.
If you want to confirm, give em a call.
