    Tension Spring, Walker-Turner14" Bandsaw

First time posting but have seen a lot of knowledge go by!
Rebuilt a WT 14" a few years ago and works well but tension bottoms out. Expect I need a new/ stiffer spring. Does anyone know original specs or what works?

No, but I had a similar issue with my old BS and I put a metal spacer between the adjuster screw and the frame for some extra tension.

See if a Carter Cobra Coil will fit. It will give you about 14,000-16,000 psi. Your OEM spring is probably 8500-11,000 psi

Have you tried searching on owwm? There are guys there can help you out with old machinery. Try cross referencing too.

Do you need a spring or a shorter length blade?
