I'm drilling in a wrought iron railing with 8-3/4 metal sheet screws.
What size drill bits should I use?
I drilled the holes with the 1/8 bit. The screws are too tight.
Any other recommendations
Thanks.

"Wrought iron" makes me think of material thicker than sheet metal. Good quality sheet metal screws are OK with 16 ga or thinner; if the metal is thicker than that, you may have to thread it. If it is sheet metal, you may have to experiment with hole size.
