    Wet Maple

    Last week I bought a load of lumber for winter projects. Mahogany, Cherry and Maple. The cherry and mahogany are both around 8 percent moisture on my meter. However the Maple is 12 percent. How long will it take to lose that 4 percent in my climate controlled shop? I put it on the rack and stickered it just like I would have green lumber and pointed a fan at it.

    About two to three weeks. Maple dries fast and easy.
