Cribbage Boards : Best way to ship ?

Making a few wood bases for Cribbage Boards , what is the best way to ship them ? They are 20 inches Long x 6 inches Wide x 1 1/2 Thick for each one. I was thinking of using one of the USPS Large Flat Rate Boxes . For packing material, is that plastic bubble wrap needed ? Making them out of a combination of woods. Walnut/ Maple. Cherry/ Maple.

I'd wrap them in bubble wrap.

I've mailed cutting boards and small pieces like jewelry boxes via USPS and UPS wrapped in bubble wrap.
Use enough wrap to make sure the pieces don't slop around.
