    Target Coatings use question

I need to paint some kitchen cabinets white. These cabinets are in an older home and have been previously stained and cleared (lacquer I assume). After cleaning and gong over with a scotch pad I thought about spraying the Bright White Pastel EM6500 to get color then top coating with Super Clear 9000. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts you all have on this. Will this work, is there a better way, etc? I'll be using an HVLP gun.

    Thanks
    Jack

I've used the bright white as a base on raw doors then topped it off with 6000 lacquer with no problems.

Don't recall of the top if the 9000 is compatible with the 6500 or not, might check with Target, I suspect it should be but there may be a different drying time involved or something.

As far as the kitchen you're working on, might also consider a sealer primer (dewaxed shellac or similar) just to make sure the WB stuff adheres well on your prepped surface.
