    Scroll Saw Gloat

This is the other estate sale find this past weekend, it also went for $100. It looks unused. It does need a new belt which I have ordered. Anyone know anything about these scroll saws?

    thanks

Nice score! I never heard of Scrollmate, but it looks like a Hegner copy, or a PS Wood, which are both very good saws. You got a pretty nice shop there, but I think you need a bigger lathe, just kidding.

Yeah, that lathe is a Jet 1642 EVS - I sometimes turn bedposts for 4 poster beds, as long as 7 feet. The Vega duplicator is 8 feet long. Great equipment.

I have done a little research and the Scrollmate is the old Sakura which was bought by PSWood, so they are the same machine, at least that is what I "learned on the internet"
