Text... Writing Tools... Quick Correct... Uncheck "Capitalize first letter of sentences".

In order to make that a default setting I believe you next need to click on the documents box and click on save settings as default.

Quick correct
Then uncheck the one you don't want it to do.

If you already typed the text (or imported it), you can go to Text/Change Case and click on lowercase.

Jeff, That wasn't working. It would change everything but once it was done the first letter would go back to uppercase.

You're right!! I guess I had unchecked the Quick Correct box a long time ago. Now that I think about it, it bothered me a long time ago.
