Source for tires for a Hammer N4400 bandsaw?

17 3/8" wheels - anyone know a vendor that stocks this unconventional size?

You should be able to find them as 440 mm. Dave

I won't presume to speak for another vendor but generally speaking, with Euro bandsaws (Centauro being the exception...), the tire is not available separately. You have to buy the whole wheel. That being said, I might give a Carter 18" poly tire a shot. Or better yet, a 17" one if they offer it.

Best of luck to the OP,

The on line manual for the bandsaw lists the tires as part # 504-15-456.....................Regards, Rod.

If the width is right, I bet you could get a 17" tire on a 440mm wheel.

I have purchased N4400 tires from: Felder, Grizzly, and most frequently Sulphur Grove Tools. I keep a couple of pairs on hand all the time. FWIW, Sulphur Grove has a nice video on installing tires by rolling them on.

Yes Eugene they do offer very good advice, I had a look after you posted.
They have a good video for replacing a tire while the wheel is off and a link on doing it with the wheel on the saw.
    Thanks for the information.

    Dan,
The 17" wheels take a little more force to roll on than those 14" in the video, LOL!
I've been installing a new set about 1/year. Felder tells me I need AC in the s'hanger.
