Thread: Buckeye Burl Anyone?....Vessels and a Burl

  1. Those are beautiful Wally, just one of a kind of wood that stops you in your tracks and wants to make you look at it over and over, and your woodturning is superb as always.

    I found out years ago that although the 2 buckeye trees are very different, the actual buckeyes produced are almost identical in appearance. A customer from Calif. had a buckeye tree in her back yard, and another in her yard in OH, and brought me a seed pod buckeye from each that were almost twins.
