    Life

these days in Italy was the first national competition of artistic wood turning, the theme of the competition was "a Italian Forest " I presented this piece in jujube wood, cork and maple ; I called this "Life", just because "the forest exudes life" and this is what I see when I look at a forest

    Comments & criticism very welcome

Francesco, this is a wonderful piece that is tastefully carried out. I'm sure there are a wealth of comparisons that you envisioned when creating this. The base, the pod and the leaf springing from within all work well together. Bravo!

I was very pleased to see your work over on WOW Francesco, and select it for the cover honors on Monday. I believe this piece was your first post, but don't let it be your last!
