    What to offer for older Laguna 16" band saw?

    I found a 16" Laguna band saw for sale locally. It's not an HD. It was built in Bulgaria and has the 3hp Italian motor I think. What would be a good price to offer for this saw? After some research I've discovered the Italian motors run hot and are less desirable. Does anyone know about the resaw capacity of this saw? Thanks for any advice or information.

    The italian motors got a bad rap when some 50 hz motors were imported and run at 60 hz. I've a late 90s italian Laguna LT 18 that I am selling for $1000 so the 16 would be less. Dave
