Post Bamboo cutting board, wood glue or epoxy?

I'm making a bamboo cutting board with a zebrawood boarder and I'm not sure if I should use wood glue or a two part epoxy?

I typically use and have on hand both tightbond II waterproof wood glue and Devcon 2 ton epoxy.
I spent a lot of money on the wood and I would be willing to bet either would suffice but I thought I would solicit the collective here for opinions on which is best. The wood glue would be easier to work with so would there be a benefit to using the epoxy?
I'm leaning towards the tightbond II...

    Thanks!

Titebond II will be tight enough. If you intend to soak in water however I would use a 2 part epoxy like West System or System Three T 88 just for extra insurance.

Thanks Sam, Thats what I thought and thats what I'll do then.
Its not likely going to get soaked, its for a customer at www.Custommade.com to cover the burners on a rangetop so for the most part its decorative.
    That bamboo is 'spensive!!
