    Hi, folks

Walter's bottle box got me thinking, so here's a version that's 3.5 x 12.5 inches inside, to fit most 750ml bottles. The lid has a flexible/living hinge, and there's enough room on the front of the lid to engrave either a greeting or perhaps a winery logo. The bird brush art design is cut through, although a simple vector non-through cut or a raster engraving would also work well. I used a 3mm Baltic birch pre-finished both sides with Zinser sanding sealer to give the hinge a bit of lateral stability in heat/humidity-- as when a customer leaves partially open on it's side, it in a bag on the seat of a closed vehicle. <sigh>

On my machine it took 6 minutes to cut, then 4 to glue up/assemble. Would that this PBR town had a decent market for such things. Enjoy :-)

    Looks good, Duncan!
The only thing I would change (maybe) is to 'roll' the edges on a
belt sander to soften the look of the joints and give a smoother
feel to the box. Like the living hinge on it, too.
