Beautiful wood and a beautiful table. I am sure your daughter will cherish it! I like the slot in the drawer for the drawer guide. Nice way to keep the bottom of the drawer off the casing.

Beautiful cherry! You did a great job.
From a design standpoint, I would have added a very small chamfer to soften the top edge and perhaps make those corners a bit more "shin friendly".
