It's all a matter of where you live.

They took the plywood off the windows at the ice cream place by us. That's usually the first sign.

Matt, you must be outside of the Twin Cities metro area. The metro is running right about average for now. It doesn't seem like the snow has been much worse than most winters. Of course, last winter was quite unusual. It was 80 degrees in mid March.

One last hooorah this weekend for ice fishing, then its time for winter to go away. I'm ready, this winter has seemed really long (guess the last one really spoiled me).
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. My desk is a work station.

Keith, those are Chesapeake Bay blue crabs, the finest seafood product known to man. In Maryland, their consumption is considered to be almost a religious experience.

Boy I'm definitely already at the "time for winter to go away" stage! I gave up ice fishing quite a few years ago when I got back into snowmobiling, and then I sold my snowmobile last year to buy a new cabinet saw. With the extra long hours at work, its been a real struggle to keep up with the snow removal here at home.
