    new lathe

After some consideration and pondering i bit the bullet and bought a new 1642. I searched the internet and settled on Moore Tool & equip out of arizona.
$1993 shipped to my door. When someone tells you that they will sell you their lathe don't sell yours first before buying theirs. Lesson learned and it cost
me nearly $500 to learn that. Byron

Congrats. That would probably look like a great lathe if we could see it.

It must be nice!!! I turning on a tube lathe and if the piece is out of balance, the lathe will walk across the room.....for real.
Do or do not, there is no try.
