    Some chairs and things

Dakota Jackson....I know that name , he met Marshall Dylan in a famous shoot out by the Lazy Designer Saloon....
Wrong! The name was invented...the once showman , dancer turned to design... the Kosher Cowboy (What if he used that name?.... Don't ask!!!) has done very well.....Here is some of his stuff...

"How does a nice Yiddish boy from New York end up with the name Dakota....?"
"Oiy! Vy do you ask such qvestions? Just show the mans stuff! "

    "OK! OK!"

Mark I like the top table with the elegant legs-- the chairs - look to top heavy. The cabinet in the top picture has nice lines and is scaled right.

Gotta love those backs!. I wonder how their made. Little torsion boxes??

Some of these designs remind me of the furniture my folks had in the 50's, only with a slight modern twist. The lounge chair looks like a low rider. I'm there.

I have to say I like it all! The chairs the best. It's not all stuff that I could pull off in my house but nice lines. It all strikes me as more in touch with reality than alot of what I consider "modern" design.
I could cry for the time I've wasted, but thats a waste of time and tears.

Simple Strong Lines and Graceful Curves.

    I like it.

This is much better than that cardboard stuff. Which reminded me of Ketchup on Ice Cream.....cardboard on/as furniture.

I like this series, especially the dining chairs in the first set. You can see definite design elements that Dakota carries through the work including the way the curves are configured and the shapes of the chair backs. The tables are complimentary to those elements in most cases. Good examples of a "signature" that permeates the work.

Graceful curves and straight lines. Thin to thick. Initial impression/casual glance.....legs look thin or weak compared to the bulk of the bodies or chairbacks...........This style didn't interest me initially but could grow on me.
