Help with photograv to corel drawx4

Hope I can get the answer. I scan a photo to my desk top at 800 dpi and open it in photograv, process it with the auto process and save the engraved choice. I then open corel draw and when I attempt to import the saved image I get an unsupported tag error and can't import the pic. What am I doing wrong? I am clicking file and then import. Do I need to save from photograv another way?

More information would be helpful.... laser type & size, Corel version, PhotoGrav version, why 800dpi (that's extremely high), What you are planning to laser it onto....

If you use PG you should have the file to size and the DPI you intend to engrave it with. In other words
if you plan on engraving at 300DPI your image size before PG should be 300DPI. Try dragging the file into
Corel instead of importing it and see if that works.

I had that problem when I started also. I save it as a bitmap instead of the default photograv supported image in the pull down on the document save page in photograv. It has worked for me every since.
