    glass cursors

Anyone know a source for cursors of different sizes and shapes. I'm making some new stops for a slider and would like to incorporate a clear cursor with a line- glass or plastic, magnifying or not. Would like it to be fairly decent quality as my eyes need more help all the time. Dave

You can go on Ebay and look at slide rules. They all have the little lines and many magnify.

I use a piece of Lexan (I had it,) scribe a line with either an awl or utility knife. Go over scribe with a sharpie, and wipe off excess. This will leave you a nice sharp VISIBLE line. Learned it from Norm.

This is what I did for my Shop Fox Classic fence. 1/4" plastic and 1/4" aluminum.

    David,

Go to our Friends of the Creek Directory and search on laser engraving. There are a lot of people here who own laser engravers who can easily make these.
