    Wood Identification?

    I've been "woodpile diving" since hurricane Isaac and need help identifying this wood. The log end view is after applying anchor seal. I'm thinking that this may be Mimosa. It's not very hard when I press on the end with a screwdriver.

    It does look like some supposed Mimosa I had. If it is, that stuff really disagreed with my sinuses, even turning green with no real dust. It was like a wimpy version of pepper spray.
