    Epilog USB Cable

I'm expecting my mini 24 on Mon or Tues and want to be ready with the right USB cable. Is it your standard printer A to B cable? If one is included with the unit, can anyone tell me the length? I have approx a 12 ft run, and usually cables that ship with devices are pretty short.

    Thanks

Hit post too soon. I have a follow up question. Any preference between ethernet or USB on this machine? I'm a computer engineer so I don't need an explanation of the technical differences, just that some drivers are quirkier than others.

    Thanks Again

I prefer ethernet. I had a few glitches with usb, but no problems with ethernet or wireless. I use a standard 3' cable from Radio Shack.

Have fun with you new toy! Come back and share your adventures.

+1 on the Ethernet cable. I think the one they send may be 8-10 ft, I have mine stretched behind my helix past the ext and then to my desk.

    Good luck!

I use ethernet with my Mini as well. It's an easy set up.
I design, engineer and program all sorts of things.

Oh, and I use Adobe Illustrator with an Epilog Mini.
