I saw that on there and was very tempted, would have been quite the upgrade over the plywood faces on my minimax fence.

I don't know if it is the same fence but the Barke company had these on display at Fensterbau.

They said it was Italian made. There is a link for pricing on their web page. Less than the Aigner, not as many features but easier to close off around the cutter when the whole edge of the work is machined.

I have seen them in a picture on the Italian Tecnica F700I/N series spindle moulder/shaper. I believe those are Hermetic plates anyway in the picture - lower left. Let me know if you sell them

I got a couple fences that are similar when I bought my Delta 1 1/2 HP shapers. I think they are from the 1990's. They have fiberglass fingers that slide, rather than aluminum, and they operate pretty much like the Hermatic. The quality is much poorer though. I don't use them because I can never keep them parallel, so I simply built router style fences for the shapers. In this case it was 'good idea/poor execution'.

    JR,

What keeps the sliding fingers from sliding? Do they lock down once you position them? If so... individually, or all together?

Nice find, I kind of stopped watching IRS the last month or so, shucks.....

Take a look at this shop built (Aigners style) fence.
