    Embed font

I've been searching the net, but can't find any help on this question. Is it possible to embed the fonts in my coreldraw files? I'm using X6

    Thanks,

Not too sure what the terminology is in CorelDraw but it sounds like you want to convert the type to outlines/curves.
I design, engineer and program all sorts of things.

Oh, and I use Adobe Illustrator with an Epilog Mini.

no I create my files on my desktop then take them to my laptop (which runs the laser).. When I install a font on the desktop.. I have to remember to install it on the laptop.. If I could embed the font in the file, then this would not be a problem.

It's had that feature for awhile now: http://jeff-harrison.unleash.com/200...w-document.asp

EDIT: Oops, they removed the TrueDoc functionality from X6. (Right, like I really needed another reason not to upgrade.)

"Design"? Possibly. "Intelligent"? Sure doesn't look like it from this angle.

    Don't know in X6
In X3 when you go to "save file as" click on "Option" box at the bottom and it will expand where you check "embed fonts using Truedoc (TM)" box.

That's the feature Lee already posted about - X6 removed this feature. You can embed the font in a PDF file - but that's only if the font allows embedding.
I read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and I think, "Well, that’s not going to happen."
