    What's a "BEC?" Guessing, I'd say it's some sort of incanal/outcanal carving chisel. Bevel edge chisel?

    Great looking box.

    Well Jack you beat me to it, I hesitated on asking as I thought it might be a stupid odvious question. I also am not sure what a BEC stands for.

    Yes, bevel edged chisel. I wasn't sure if that was common here, I know it's used on the Old Tools list and in certain user tool dealer pages.

    I also managed to jump up in the white pine section of the local BBRG, and get some close to QS pine boards, I'll need to rip and glue up 2 or three pieces to get what I need but I have some finally!
