i would loved to have had that stuff when i was a kid. me and my friends used to make some great forts.
my parents owned a body shop and trailer court when i was growing up, it was laid out like a giant horseshoe
so the driveway went all the way around and was really wide so they hired a loader to come move snow every
winter and they would pile it up in front of the shop so you can imagine it was huge so i used to start shovelling
in from the side and i would make seating area, bring out a ladder that went up to the upper level where we would
pop up and launch snowballs at trucks when they went by. god i miss those days of being a dumb kid having fun!

All those things were around when I was a kid. I had the snow ball thrower. What a joke. When I went to throw a snowball, the snow was usually too dry, and the snowball either fell out as you were cocking your arm, or launched somewhere in the arc as you were trying to throw it. It was embarrassing to hit yourself in the head because it went straight into the air. When the snow was wet, it usually froze instantly in the cup, and we had to dig it out with a screwdriver. The only time I ever got a good throw, it went a bit farther than expected. About 100 yards farther. Broke a neighbors window way down the street. That was the last time I tried it. It was very pretty as a trash can ornament.
