    I Remember!

About a year ago I became tired of pens, boxes, and bowls. I was down to 2 pieces of wood, both with a bunch of ugly cracks, my back could no longer handle my big chainsaw. Wanted to try hollowing but could not afford any new tools. So I have not turned in a year. I finally got tired of looking at my 2 pieces of wood yesterday and stuck one on the lathe. This is what I ended up with. Not great but considering the top 1 1/2 flew off as I was about done, I"m happy. Only one coat of danish oil so far, will finish later. Maple, 6 3/4 X 4 1/2.
