    Brass with CNC router

    I had such good luck cutting aluminum, I was wondering about brass. Can it be done on a CNC router. Starting point?

    Brass is easier to cut then alumium

    Aluminum is gummy and sticks to the tool - brass just sorta wants to get out of the way.

    I cut 1,5 mm brass with 3mm tool 2 flute for aluminium, 15 mm/sec, 12000 RPM in one pass.
    Epilog Mini 24/35W, Shenhui 600x900/80W RECI, CNC WK1325, Galvo Fiber 10W

    Watch your allloys and try to stick with 353, 360 and 385.
