    New General fence arrived

Yahoo!!. Some of you may remember I took delivery of a new General table saw that had an out of square fence (see thread) http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthre...=general+table

General in Canada has been very nice and has sent me a new fence (its square) no questions asked. I did send them photos to demonstrat its issue to them but otherwise it was a simple call "I have a problem" and they took care of it. Quick!

Hats off to General. I'm a happy camper.

After discovering that a single sheet of plastic laminate herein Napa would be about $ 80.00, I ordered a Biesmeyer extension table through Amazon for $ 90.00. I still need to make the legs.

    Cheers,

    Kent

Glad your problem is fixed. I know those two fences are going to give people silly ideas.

General came through again, just as everyone expected them to.

I have never seen a picture of a saw with two fences on it before. It looks crowded.

    Thumbs up

Glad to hear it Kent....that's pretty much the way they treated me when I first got my saw.
