    upgrade to windows XP

I have a Roland PNC 2300 and I recently upgraded computer to windows XP. Everything seems to be working EXCEPT I cannot get the fill to work. I can do the outline of the letters, but the engraver will not fill in the letters. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome to SMC. I doubt that the fill issue is related to XP and is more likely in your Roland software. Did you check all the drop down menus to see that "fill" was checked?

    I agree with Mike.
Check if you have button for "wirefarme / solid fill" in Roland software. If you are filling an object do you need to "explode" before filling it? In some engraving software it is required to do this.

Thanks for welcoming me. I have checked the "fill". I have also been communicating with Roland and their just wanting to upgrade to a NEW engraver or start using Dr. Engrave software (which is completely different from Corel Draw).

Thanks for your reply. I am using CorelDraw software, nothing by Roland but I am making sure that the "fill" is on before engraving.

Doesn't Corel send the job to the Roland driver? I still think the issue is in the driver settings.

Have you been to the Roland Engraver Forum, to see if there is a common problem with the set-up?
